Questions couples ask
How much does vendor matchmaking cost?
Nothing. White-glove vendor matchmaking is free for couples planning with Lumière. Vendors pay for premium directory placement; couples never pay for a recommendation.
How fast will I hear back?
Most requests are answered within two business days. If your date is inside 60 days, tell us in the request and we'll prioritize it.
Do I need a Lumière account?
You can send a request without one, but creating a free account keeps your recommendations, messages, and vendor tracker in one place.
Which categories can I request?
Any wedding category we cover in the directory — DJs and bands, photographers, videographers, florists, caterers, venues, hair and makeup, rentals, planners, transportation, and more.
Do you only recommend vendors who pay you?
No. We recommend the best fit for your date, budget, and style. Paid listings are labeled where they appear in the directory, and paying has no effect on whether a vendor is matched to you.
What happens to my contact information?
It stays with us until you say otherwise. We share your details with a vendor only after you tell us you'd like an introduction.
I'm a vendor — how do I get considered?
Claim or add your listing in the Lumière directory with accurate service areas, pricing range, and specialties. Complete listings are the first ones we reach for when a matching request comes in.
